Defending civil liberties and empowering the next generation of advocates. Join us in protecting the rights of all Americans.
Our Purpose:
"To support the ACLU’s work by reaching peers and sharing Know Your Rights information, hosting forums, coordinating educational events, and representing the ACLU within Union High School. This Club may organize events on a wide range of topics, including gender equality, racial justice, rights with law enforcement, censorship, technology and privacy rights, as well as drug policy reform. This ACLU student club will provide an opportunity for students to come together to discuss and take action on current civil liberties issues, especially ones that affect Union High School."
Our Mission Statement:
"To uphold and defend the Bill of Rights and the mission and values of the ACLU by sharing knowledge on rights amongst students, and by organizing events to bring awareness to and to protest current issues regarding the Purpose of the club."
This club supports the ACLU's dare to create a more perfect union — beyond one person, party, or side.
